Founded in Pennsylvania in 1830 by John Rich and Daniel McCormick, Woolrich is the oldest outdoor clothing American manufacturer, popular above all for its ultra-performing parka jackets. Today the substantial and glorious history of the brand can be experienced in first person simply by visiting the Flagship Store just opened in corso Venezia in Milan, 700 square metres through vintage furniture, leather armchairs and sofas, old magazines and vinyl records, plaid and rugs made with fine wools.
In this real experiential journey, which also includes an outdoor green area, the lion’s share is however entrusted to the “Extreme Weather Experience Room” where, perfectly protected by one of the Original Arctic Parka, you can immerse yourself in a polar scenario that can even reach 20°C below zero, complete with snow, fir branches, video projections and audio tracks recreating the atmosphere of the lands covered by ice.
For this truly unique video installation, which sees the use of two Canon XEED WUX6010 video projectors with 0,8:1 lens and a LX-MU500, IC Videopro provided a detailed project and technical advice, further than the creation of the server that manages the audio/video contents through Watchout software by Dataton.
